Course Overview

This two-day program for oral and maxillofacial surgeons and OMS residents will provides up-to-date information on the etiology of TMJ disease and dysfunction, and the systematic approach to diagnosis and surgical treatment of TMDs.

Day one will provide a thorough description of radiographic, arthroscopic, and open joint procedures. A hands-on cadaver laboratory will enable participants to practice single port arthroscopy and arthrocentesis under the supervision of our experienced faculty.

On day two, faculty will discuss and guide participants as they perform the numerous techniques and approaches to open arthroplasty and total joint replacement with the stock joint in the cadaver lab.

This course will provide excellent education for experienced surgeons who wish to master the techniques, surgeons who wish to add predictable new procedures to their surgical practice, and OMS residents.
