The Camino de Santiago (known in English as The Way of Saint James) is a network of pilgrims' ways serving pilgrimage to the shrine of the apostleSaint James the Great in the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain, where tradition has it that the remains of the saint are buried. Many follow its routes as a form of spiritual path or retreat for their spiritual growth. It is also popular with hiking and cycling enthusiasts and organized tour groups.

Join the Sociedad Espanola de Cirugia Oral y Maxilofacial for a combined course and walk along with the Way of Saint James.  The course features lectures in:

  • Reconstruction in cancer of the head and neck
  • Reconstruction in skin cancer of the face
  • Reconstruction in craniomaxillofacial traumatic injury
  • Reconstruction of congenital deformities in the maxillofacial region
There are four routes and attendees may do all four or only part.  Four-star hotel accommodations are included.  See for more information.
