 The American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons is a not-for-profit corporation chartered in New York as a 501(c)(3) organization, licensed to do business in the District of Columbia. 

The ACOMS is governed by our by-laws, which are reviewed by the Board of Regents on a regular basis.
